From Vienna to Broadway

Be among the first to experience live music in the new Sohmen Concert Hall as we open the doors for a soft launch ahead of the public opening.
A typically rich and varied programme from Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective whisks us from Vienna to Broadway. The programme includes Korngold's swooningly romantic Piano Quintet (which foreshadows his shimmering Hollywood film scores), alongside much-loved songs by Strauss and Barber, folk songs and spirituals in arrangements by Florence Price and Kaleidoscope's own Tom Poster, and a selection of favourites from the Great American Songbook that bring all the musicians together.
By attending, you will play an important part in shaping how the Sohmen Concert Hall functions for audiences to come, contributing to the best possible experience when we officially open to the public.
Once you have booked your ticket, we will be in touch with further event details in early February. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please notify the Ticket Office at the earliest opportunity via tickets@schwarzmancentre.ox.ac.uk.
