The Varsity Jazz Off

The Oxbridge Jazz Orchestra Varsity Concert returns.

Oxford University Jazz Orchestra revives this musical showdown, bringing Oxford and Cambridge together for an evening of electrifying live jazz.

Inspired by the long-standing tradition of Oxford and Cambridge varsity competitions, this jazz-off sees the two universities go head-to-head in a friendly musical rivalry, with each orchestra taking to the stage to showcase its talent, energy and distinctive sound.

After both orchestras have had their moment in the spotlight, the rivalry gives way to collaboration, as musicians from both sides join forces for a special ‘pickup’ band performance to round off the evening in style.

Two universities, two orchestras, and a whole lot of jazz.
