Brooklyn Rider

Celebrate Philip Glass’ 90th birthday as acclaimed New York string quartet, Brooklyn Rider performs six of the composer's string quartets in one remarkable concert.

Spanning more than three decades, from 1985 to 2017, Brooklyn Rider's Temples of Resonance programme traces the evolution of Philip Glass's distinctive musical style. Long celebrated for their interpretations of his work, Brooklyn Rider brings these six quartets together to reveal the intricate patterns, rich harmonies and drone-like textures that define Glass's musical language. Alongside unexpected connections to Schubert, the programme captures the vibrant pulse of New York that inspired so much of his music.
