Strings and voice combine in music that moves, connects and inspires.

Experience the new Sohmen Concert Hall for the first time as Scottish Ensemble perform music for strings, including an excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s much loved Serenade for Strings, in a unique, personal, and deeply human performance.

The Choir of Keble College join Scottish Ensemble for Caroline Shaw’s And the swallow which explores antiphonal textures and imitative effects.

Take your seat, connect with the music moving before you, and hear this space come to life.

Please note, this is an excerpt from the full-length Impulse: Music in Motion performance.

Part of Open House, a free day of performances and events open to everyone.
