Roderick Williams - Alumni reception

Join us for an exclusive alumni drinks reception and pre-performance talk prior to the Oxford International Song Festival concert Love's Minstrels, given by baritone and composer Roderick Williams (Magdalen, 1984), and pianist Sholto Kynoch (Worcester, 1998).

Following a welcome from Roderick Williams, Professor Laura Tunbridge FBA, Heather Professor of Music and Faculty Board Chair will talk to Sholto Kynoch, the founder and Artistic Director of the Oxford International Song Festival. They will discuss the many and varied ways in which Oxford Song has collaborated with the University over the 25 years of the Festival, the exciting partnership between Oxford Song and the Schwarzman Centre, and the background to the evening's enchanting recital programme.

The event will begin at 6.15pm with a welcome from Roderick Williams, followed by the talk. It will conclude at 7.15pm allowing you time to take your seat before the performance.

Please note that this ticket is for the pre-performance discussion only and does not include admission to the performance of Roderick Williams: Love's Minstrels. Tickets for the performance must be purchased separately.
