What if a healthy planet asks us to live differently?

Precision Planet explores artists’ proposals for how contemporary life might be reimagined to work more closely with the planet. Featuring recent work by Cao Fei and new commissions by Abbas Zahedi, Tega Brain / Sam Lavigne and Xin Liu, the exhibition considers how art can help us imagine more reciprocal relationships with each other, other species and AI.

Developed through conversations between artists and academics at the University of Oxford, Precision Planet brings artistic imagination into dialogue with research across the humanities, sciences and medicine. It invites us to question the rituals, traditions, values and behaviours shaping planetary health to consider the role each of us plays in an era increasingly defined by AI.

Precision Planet invites us to consider how our relationships with ourselves, other species and the machines we create, can help us to build a collective imaginary capable of transforming long-term planetary well-being.
