As part of his fellowship at the Schwarzman Centre, Sir Wayne McGregor CBE will be exploring research questions around the body, physical intelligence, quantum thinking and AI.

The research will be feeding the creative process of a new full-length work for Company Wayne McGregor, Tenderness Data, that will premiere in Hong Kong in May 2028. In collaboration with Oxford University academics, including Raphaël Millière from the Institute for Ethics in AI, McGregor will explore ways of listening to the body's quiet negotiations, turning cognitive and interoceptive (inner bodily feeling) murmurs into choreographic cues, so that tenderness becomes the instrument, not the dataset.

In this special event, hear Wayne in conversation with Raphael and see the highly skilled dancers of Company Wayne McGregor share some of tasks and creative tools they are using to investigate these questions, and show some elements of the work under development.
