This event is organized by Oxford SU and is taking place at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
The Oxford Postgraduate Storytelling Series continues with Journeys of Hope, bringing together postgraduate students for an evening of reflection and dialogue centred on the international student experience and the making of global scholars.
This session centres on the lived realities of international postgraduate students navigating belonging, identity, and community across borders. Through personal storytelling, speakers reflect on their journeys to Oxford, the challenges and opportunities of studying across cultures, and the ways they have built purpose and connection within the University.
The event highlights how Oxford students act as global bridge builders, shaping scholarship, leadership, and understanding across disciplines and nations, and demonstrating the role of postgraduate education in an interconnected world.
The event will feature four postgraduate students sharing personal stories connected to the theme, followed by an interactive audience Q&A.
