Twenty-five-year-old Naru lives with her three-year-old son in her parents’ Kabul apartment. Betrayed by her husband’s affairs, she has grown to distrust men.
When one of Kabul TV’s most prominent journalists offers her a career opportunity, she is caught off guard. As Afghanistan faces the Taliban’s return, Naru finds herself falling for someone in a city on the brink of falling itself.
