Ever heard a city speak?

Launching the Past, Present, Future Weekender, award-winning poet, playwright and performer Inua Ellams hosts an unforgettable night of spoken word, stories and bold new voices.

Alongside Inua, four local poets take to the stage, sharing new work inspired by walking through the city, exploring its hidden corners, its histories, its voices. Through stories of migration, resistance, work and belonging, they reveal the poetry embedded in the streets around us.

Expect sharp, fearless performances that reveal how the past still shapes today and imagine where we’re going next.

Part of the Past, Present, Future Weekender, a bold, two-day takeover of performance, ideas and action, created by young people, for young people and the curious.
