A bold, two-day takeover of performance, ideas and conversation, created by young people and academics, for young people and the curious.
From Friday night through Sunday, the building is transformed into a buzzing hub of creativity, conversation and connection. At the heart of it all is a dynamic group of young people: writing, performing, building, questioning, and leading the way. Together, they’ll explore how we can learn from the past, respond to the present, and reimagine the future, alongside some of the UK’s most brilliant theatre-makers and thinkers.
Whether you’re into theatre, activism, poetry, music, or just want to turn up and see what’s going on, there’s something here for you.
Drop in during the day for a packed programme of FREE activities including zine making, pop-up performances, creative workshops, talks and screenings or just hang out with friends and see what’s happening. No two hours are the same.
In the evening, we open the doors to headline events with extraordinary creatives like Inua Ellams, Fuel theatre and Pegasus Theatre, alongside contributions from Dr Jessica Goodman, and Prof. Christine Gerrard.
Past, Present, Future Weekender is for anyone who wants to be part of something fearless, welcoming and full of possibility.
You don’t need to have all the answers, you just need to turn up.
