TK Sebastian
Poet
TK Sebastian is a poet, writer and academic whose work explores postcolonial histories and their representation in category-resistant literary forms. As a human rights defender of Armenian and Greek heritage, she advocates for the rights of minoritised and marginalised communities within and outside the UK. Winner of the Excellence in Literature Prize at the inaugural International Orthodox Arts Festival in 2021, her debut novel in verse challenges inherited ways of seeing and enforced patterns of belonging to lay bare the human cost of glorified histories beyond contested body counts.
