Moa Johansson

Costume Designer, Associate Set Designer

Moa Johansson is a London-based artist, designer and maker. They have created costumes and sets for Unicorn Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and drag artist Ginger Johnson, among others. Their recent productions include Turn Your Fu*king Phone Off (Summerhall), Second Trimester (Battersea Arts Centre) and Man or Bear (touring), alongside costume supervision for Beautiful Little Fool (Southwark Playhouse) and Cinderella and the Matzo Ball (JW3).

Moa has also presented work in galleries and performance contexts across the UK and Europe, including Southwark Park Galleries, Moderna Museet, Humber Street Gallery, Tramway and Cambridge Junction. In 2025, they launched their own clothes brand, DYKEVÄST.
