Ernest Fasanya
Ernest joined Hopkins Architects in 1987 and has led award-winning projects across healthcare, education, and sports. Key works include the Mound Stand at Lord’s, the Music School at King’s College School, Wimbledon, the Arc and Apex in Bury St Edmunds, and a renewal of the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He recently delivered the Pears Building (Institute of Immunity and Transplantation) for the Royal Free Charity and University College London.
Ernest completed the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford in 2025, uniting all Humanities faculties for the first time, with public performance and exhibition spaces to strengthen community engagement.
Alongside practice, he has lectured internationally and taught at Aarhus School of Architecture, University College London, and Queen’s University Belfast. He sits on the National Judging Panel for the 2026 Civic Trust Awards and chaired the North London Panel for the 2024 RIBA Awards.
