Andrew Barnett

Andrew studied at the University of Cambridge and Harvard University. His work covers a wide range of sectors and includes many complex projects such as Glyndebourne Opera House, the Wellcome Trust Headquarters, Evelina Children's Hospital and Norwich Cathedral Hostry and Refectory. Many of these have been in highly sensitive heritage settings.

Most recently he has led the design of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford. In the USA he has led projects at Rice University, the Smith Campus Center at Harvard, and one of the largest college athletics centers in the USA, at Colby College.

Currently he is leading teams designing a New Residence Hall for Colby College, a new Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and a new laboratory building at Vanderbilt University. He has taught, lectured and examined widely and designed his own houses in London and the Scottish Highlands, both of which have won multiple awards.
