This event is organised by Oxford SU and is taking place at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
The Oxford Postgraduate Storytelling Series opens with a flagship conversation bringing together approximately 200 postgraduate students and senior University leaders for an evening of reflection and dialogue at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
The session features the Vice-Chancellor reflecting on her journey at Oxford, from arriving as a first generation student from a working class background, through her academic career and service as Warden of Merton College, to her current role as Vice-Chancellor of the University. Her reflections explore the themes of leadership, belonging, and opportunity, setting the tone for the series.
During this event, the Vice-Chancellor will officially launch the Oxford Postgraduate Storytelling Series, marking the beginning of a dedicated platform for postgraduate voices and experiences across the University.
The event will also feature two postgraduate students sharing personal stories connected to the theme, followed by an interactive audience Q&A.
