A day of music bringing together young people, musicians and communities from from across Oxfordshire to celebrate the many voices and traditions that make up the county.
Through singing, instrumental music and shared performance, Music from a City of Sanctuary celebrates music as a way to connect across cultures, generations and experiences. Coinciding with the start of Refugee Week and ahead of Windrush Day, the event reflects on the role migration has played in shaping Oxfordshire’s rich musical and cultural life.
