Saad Qureshi received his BA in Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University in 2007 and an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, London, in 2010.

Described by Laura Cumming in the Observer as “one of our most pensive and poetic artists”, his sculptures give form to the ideas, memories and stories through which we make sense of human existence.

His recent major commissions include Tower of Now, a monumental 15-metre sculpture for Bradford UK City of Culture 2025; Convocation, winner of The Frieze & The OWO Sculpture Prize 2023, permanently displayed at Raffles London; and the Organ Donor Memorial at the Royal London Hospital.

Recent solo exhibitions include the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Oxford; Yorkshire Sculpture Park; Djanogly Gallery, Nottingham; Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival; and Nature Morte, New Delhi.

His work is held in international collections including the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi; The Farjam Foundation, Dubai; UNESCO Creative Cities Collection, Beijing; and the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMoCA).

Qureshi is a Trustee of Yorkshire Sculpture Park and features in Thames & Hudson’s 100 Sculptors of Tomorrow.
