Roy is a director, writer, facilitator, dramaturg, creative business consultant and cultural leader with a passion for empowerment and enlightenment through storytelling across a range of mediums including theatre, film, radio, poetry and television.

Roy was Joint Artistic Director & CEO of Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre between 2019-2023.
