Ella Road
Ella Road is a writer from London, working across stage and screen. Stage credits include The Phlebotomist (Hampstead Theatre Downstairs 2018, and Main House 2019 - Olivier Award nominee and finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize), and Fair Play (Bush Theatre 2021, co-produced by Sonia Friedman Productions). She is currently on attachment at the National Theatre.
For television, credits include Black Mirror Season 7 episode Eulogy (for Netflix, co-written with Charlie Brooker), episodes 4 & 8 of Ten Percent (the English language remake of Call My Agent, for Amazon), episodes of Tanya Saracho's series Lovesong (Starz/NBC Universal), and Doctor Who - The Legend of the Sea Devils (for BBC, co-written with Chris Chibnall). Ella has her own original comedy-drama in development at Sky, and is also showrunning series for Miramax and Ringside/60:40.
On the film side, Ella has several projects on the slate, including a thriller for Doug Liman, and a dark comedy for Blueprint Pictures.
