Dan Smith (Schwarzman Centre Cultural Fellow)
Dan Smith is a songwriter, producer and lead singer of the BRIT Award-winning band Bastille. Dan will use of verbatim theatre and co-creation techniques to create a long-form show that draws parallels between refugee stories in classical literature and modern Britian, considering how stories can be used to foster shared understanding. Dan aims to co-create a work with teenagers in Oxfordshire which can be available as performance material to schools around the country.
